Good To Great by Jim Collins

Four Stars!

There are a few landmark books that can change the game. Entrepreneurship and Leadership are my two favorite topics, especially when they cross paths. The most influential book in this category is one I would classify as a must read and it is Good To Great by Jim Collins. Jim's landmark first effort, Built to Last, took a look at several venerable companies that were premier institutions in their industries and had been founded before 1950, among other criteria. In Good To Great, they found a number of companies that were moving along at a pace that we would recognize as a good company but then something happened rather suddenly to propel these companies to greatness, sustained over 15 years.
